It was a great pleasure to have co-organized and presented at another yet International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) webinar, this time along with Roberto F. Aguilera, Energy Economist with Curtin University Oil and Gas Innovation Centre, Australia, and consultant with Servipetrol Ltd, Canada, and Piero Carlo dos Reis, Research Associate at the FSR, working on energy technologies and electricity-related specific topics.
This webinar aims to introduce the basics of the hydrogen market, as well as to outline the broad opportunities and constraints for the sector in the coming decades. It also focuses on assumptions about the future hydrogen market towards EU decarbonization and about technological costs of hydrogen supply. Finally, it looks into the applicable regulatory framework for hydrogen networks and the geopolitical and energy security challenges that may emerge within a future commoditized market model for hydrogen.
The recording of our webinar is now available on the IAEE website (IAEE MEMBERSHIP OR VIDEO PURCHASE FEE REQUIRED): https://www.iaee.org/en/webinars/webinar_aguilera2.aspx
